Photographs by Phillip Harrington, shot in Moscow in November 1956. When Harrington arrived in Moscow, he worked with journalist Edmund Stevens of Time Magazine and set out to photograph the lives of ordinary people in Moscow and across Russia. These old vintage images show Harrington's street photography of people shopping, at the market, commuting on the train, working, going to the theater, and playing.
